Past Events

The selected paintings explore the differences in light, shadow, and colour between our northern climate and that of the tropics. The differing palettes reflect the varying temperatures and clarity of light found in these disparate regions - humid to dry and warm to cool.

As always, the subject matter is secondary to the interplay of darks and lights which constitute the various forms, revealing the mood and character of the location.
